“China appears to have sent a message to Iran that it could not rely on Beijing's unstinting support by reducing its imports of oil at a time when the US and Europe are promoting an embargo on the country.
The Washington Post reported that China trimmed its oil imports from Iran in January from a daily average of around 550,000 barrels to 285,000 barrels a day.” This is about price and terms
The Pentagon plans to fork over $32 million to develop “fun to play” computer games that can refine the way weapons systems are tested to ensure they are free from software errors and security bugs, according to a Defense Department solicitation.
How does ultrasonic welding work? Well it’s pretty simple really – if you rub together anything then you produce heat, right? Well now imagine rubbing stuff together 20 or 30 thousand times a second – things get pretty hot, pretty quick. Ultrasonic welding injects ultrasonic energy into one thing you want to join and where that contacts the other stationary thing you are joining it to, heat is produced. This melts the plastic, creating a weld.

“You nailed it right on the head Bob, it's a rigged game and you're right to buy and buy and buy, because the riggers of the game are going to make gold and silver expensive enough to eventually cover our massive debt, switch to a gold backed standard again and viola, the US is out of debt.” Guess what this guy sells silver!

"They are afraid of the old for their memory, they are afraid of the young for their innocence they afraid of the graves of their victims in faraway places they are afraid of history. They are afraid of freedom. They are afraid of truth. They are afraid of democracy. So why the hell are we afraid of them? ... For they are afraid of us."

Blame everyone except the Fed, saw the same bullshit in the 70's. it's the Arabs, it's the Speculators, it's the people who drive big cars. Heard the same song in 2008. Where did all the ranting go? The original purpose of this site was to provide me with a place to stash the stories I needed for the radio show. In those days I was On 24 hour call for a client, and I did not all ways know were I would be at any given time. So rather than printing, and carrying all the stories that I wanted to use on the show with me at all times, I posted links to the stories I wanted to talk about during the show on a website. As I have started to put local content on the site I have decided to move these stories to My Facebook Page. Be warned! I am not at all ashamed to use “coarse” language. |

Fear is a funny thing, rational fear tells use to that we must be very careful in a dangerous environment. A good example of this would be being afraid of falling out of a tree. We can use this fear as a reminder to climb the tree carefully. It is rational because we understand the risk involved, we know there is some danger in climbing the tree from our experience with gravity, so we can make decisions about climbing the tree based on facts. Being afraid of trees is an irrational fear.. Trees seldom attack people, people are killed by falling trees but if you look at the frequency of the occurrence of the event, it doesn't happen very often. That's the problem with irrational fear, it exists in the absence of judgment, it is irrational because it is lacking in reason. Knowledge is the antidote to irrational fear, if you study the facts about something that you are afraid of, you can evaluate the risk involved, and determine if there is a clear and present danger or, it is “nothing to be afraid of”. One of the more popular irrational fears, is a fear of the “Militia”, because everyone knew (incorrectly) that the militia blew up the OKC federal building, and suddenly every person that had ever said anything remotely anti-government suddenly “must be militia”. Most people had never heard the word militia before the OKC bombing, and afterward rather than investigating what a militia was, they associated the emotion that came from watching the bombing on TV with the word. They became afraid of the word, because they did not know what it meant. The antidote to this particular fear is found in the United States Code. It turns out that “the militia” is not a band of comma clad specters lurking behind every bush and hiding behind every tree, the militia is in fact most of the male population between 17 and 45. TITLE 10 > Subtitle A > PART I > CHAPTER 13 > § 311 § 311. Militia: composition and classes(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard. (b) The classes of the militia are— (1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and (2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia.
Many of the things I write about, and many of the stories I link to can be frightening, but don't react irrationally to then. Investigate the issue of your concern with information from a number of source, not just sources that have opinion that you agree with. The world we live in is changing, and you need to react to the changes rationally, or you will squander your resources preparing for the day that the trees attack. To be continued... |
